Sunshine, cool mornings and a little hint of Fall in the air...
That is what I call perfection when it comes to weather. In my world, September brings structure, schedules, cleaning & organizing for starters. But it also brings crisp weather, rich Fall colors, yummy drinks, Fall planting (see note below), pumpkins, Fall events and the list could go on and on....
But while we are on the Subject of Fall events... We have a date for ours! September 29th & 30th! So mark your calendar because this event is so much fun. We will have our gorgeous decorative pumpkins as well as perfect carving pumpkins (at the best price around btw;) There will be activities for the kids, Fall themed photo booth, free marshmallow roasting kit with every $30 purchase, Basket giveaways, door prizes and so much more. Moving on to Fall planting: A little tidbit for you... Did you know that now is the perfect time to plant in your gardens? Trees, shrubs and perennials will love their life if you put them in the ground now. I always say late Summer, early Fall is best because it gives the plant time to get settled, root in a bit and maybe even push new growth before it goes dormant for the Winter. So come snap up some things to fill in your bare spots or to start a new bed with. Then you get to enjoy the structure all winter instead of looking at a blank spot. We got a plant order last week and another one this week. So there should be plenty of beautiful shrubs and perennials to choose from!
